If Christians want to find a path forward through many of the controversial issues facing the church and society today, we’ll find that path by looking again at what it means that God made us—all of us—in His own image.

Beginning with the opening chapters of Genesis, this course explores the profound truth that God made us in His own image, and it equips students to use that understanding to bless their neighbors and seek the good of society. The Imago Dei is an eight-lecture course that brings together Patrick Henry College professors and a group of distinguished speakers to shed light on some of the most pressing issues facing the church today. Over the course of eight lectures, you’ll learn:

  • Why God often calls the church to lean into points of tension rather than skirt around them

  • How to respond to recent ideas about gender and marriage in light of timeless truth

  • How to think Biblically about equality and diversity in response to the present-day obsession with “race”

  • Why the Imago Dei provides a much-needed framework for thinking about politics, private property, and poverty
